Højhuset is the perfect place to hold your next meeting, conference, course or corporate event. With rooms of all sizes, a lecture hall, and a beautiful and spectacular theatre hall, we have room for all kinds of events, from small day meetings with a few participants to significant events, receptions, and company parties with up to 300 participants.
The house invites to meetings where energy, movement, and small shifts of setting can add something positive to the professional agenda. The well-designed meeting rooms are centrally located in Herning and make it easy to plan breakout sessions in the Fireplace Lounge or the Library, enjoy coffee in the Atrium Courtyard, and even head out for a walk-and-talk in Højhuset’s cosy gardens among art, sheep, and herbs.
Suppose your event needs a cultural or creative edge. In that case, we can help you arrange a building tour, an art walk in Birk, participation in the building's events, or team-building exercises in collaboration with CoastZone.

In addition, the library, the fireplace lounge, the atrium courtyard, and Højhuset's cosy gardens are free for everyone to use.

Catering is an important part of any meeting or event. At Højhuset, meeting packages bring together organic, seasonal food and modern meeting facilities.
The small morning meeting
Coffee/tea/ice water, homemade buns with butter, cheese, jam, and fresh fruit.
Room rental, incl. AV equipment.
Other extras will be agreed upon booking.

The small afternoon meeting
Coffee/tea/ice water, homemade cake and fresh fruit.

Filmteambuilding
Filmteambuilding give you the chance to create your own short films with your organisation as the starting point — for example about values, strategy, or visions.
You work in groups, record your own films, and professional filmmakers take care of the editing. The day ends with a festive award show where all films are screened and the winners are announced.

Personal storytelling - workshop
An inspiring storytelling course for groups, where the work revolves around your own stories. Learn how to tell familiar anecdotes and well-worn tales in new ways.
Inspired by the American storytelling community The Moth, Gurli Marie Kløvedal offers a workshop-style course where you learn to uncover your own stories, paint vivid scenes with language, and tell them in a lively and authentic way.
